葉子剛撐開，嫩得能掐出水來

陽光也是淡的。不咬人，不像夏天那樣毒辣辣地曬。它就那么薄薄地鋪著，像一層薄薄的金粉，細細的，卻不沾手。天藍得清清爽爽，不高，也不遠，就在梧桐葉子上面，安安靜靜的。

這時候的梧桐最好看。葉子剛撐開，嫩得能掐出水來，綠里頭還帶著一點黃，被陽光一照，透亮透亮的。它們把光剪碎了，撒在地上，碎碎的，亮亮的，風一來就晃。

人走在樹蔭底下，身上的光斑也跟著一晃一晃的，像披了一件綴滿亮片的衣裳。

這時候走路，腳步自然就慢了。

不是趕路。是散步。是那種什么都不想、又什么都想想的走法。頭頂的梧桐葉一層疊一層，撐出一片綠蔭來。光從葉子的縫隙里漏下來，落在肩上、手背上，癢癢的，像小時候母親用頭發梢逗你。

五月的上海，春天還沒走遠，夏天也沒來催，就這么不慌不忙地，在中途歇一歇腳。

這樣的日子，走走、發呆、遇見，都好。

我從地鐵2號線靜安寺站鉆出來。常德路就在眼前，梧桐葉子已經綠透了，在地上篩出一片碎金。我不急著趕路，想去愚園路走走。

愚園路這名字，聽著就舊。據說是因為一座叫“愚園”的園子，那園子早就沒了，路名倒留了下來。從1860年開始建，修修停停，前后修了五十八年，橫跨靜安、長寧兩個區。一百多年了，路還是那條路，樹卻一年比一年綠了。

先看到常德公寓。這是張愛玲住過的地方。公寓立在路口，米黃色的墻，陽臺長長的，線條簡簡單單。周圍都是高樓，它還是老樣子，不卑不亢的。門前曾有一小片銀杏，鬧中取靜，正合文人的脾性。

我站在那里看了一會兒，總覺得她隨時會推門出來，穿著旗袍，冷冷的，誰也不看。樓下有間書店，玻璃櫥窗映著行人，來來去去，誰也不多看這樓一眼。可是讀過她書的人，路過這里，心里總會動一下。

公寓斜對面，愚園路81號，是劉長勝故居。磚紅色的房子，安安靜靜地站在街角。年輕人匆匆走過，不會多看一眼。可那里面，藏著一個時代的風云。地下工作者的烽火歲月，如今只剩下這棟沉默的房子了。

再往前走，靜安寺到了。金頂在日光里亮得晃眼。香火氣飄出來，混著梧桐葉的青澀。廟門口有人合十，有人拍照，有人匆匆走過。一千七百年的寺廟，和對面商場里的咖啡香，只隔著一條馬路。這很上海，什么都能擱在一起，什么都不違和。

百樂門就在前面。那扇門還立著，玻璃轉門上映著街景，人影一晃一晃的。當年周璇在這里唱過，歌聲飄了一夜又一夜，多少紅男綠女進進出出。

如今只剩下路過的人偶爾抬抬頭，念一句“哦，百樂門”，然后就走開了。時間這東西，再熱鬧的，到了它手里，都安靜了。

拐進愚谷邨，世界忽然安靜下來。弄堂窄，頭頂晾著床單、襯衣、小孩的襪子。風一吹，它們輕輕搖，像在跳舞。一只白貓蹲在石階上，瞇著眼睛看我，又懶懶地走開了。
