五一假期期間，一則“越王勾踐本人來天河機場也得辦托運”的帖子，在社交媒體走紅。

A viral social media post during the May Day holiday humorously suggested that even King Goujian of Yue would have to check his sword at airport security in Wuhan, highlighting strict carry-on rules.

該網絡帖子顯示，武漢天河機場立起了一塊安檢提示牌，明確刃長超過6厘米的“越王勾踐劍”不能隨身帶上飛機。

The remark drew attention to a security reminder at Wuhan Tianhe Airport in Hubei province. The notice states that any blade longer than 6 centimeters, including souvenir replicas of the legendary Sword of Goujian, is prohibited in carry-on luggage.

真實情況到底如何？據上游新聞報道，針對網友的種種疑惑，天河機場安檢處工作人員介紹，機場安檢區域確實立有上述溫馨提示牌，是以湖北省博物館鎮館之寶越王勾踐劍為例，提醒旅客刀刃超過6厘米的刀具不得隨身攜帶，需辦理暫存、托運或郵寄手續。

According to airport security staff, the sign was put up as a reminder for travelers. By using the well-known Sword of Goujian, a national treasure from the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) housed in the Hubei Provincial Museum, as an example, the notice highlights that knives with blades exceeding 6 cm cannot be taken on board. Such items must be stored temporarily, checked in, or sent by courier.

該工作人員提到，刀刃超過6厘米的刀具禁止隨身攜帶，是民航局早已出臺的規定，文創版越王勾踐劍亦在管制范圍之內。“為了提高過檢效率，才有此提示牌進行重點提醒。”

The regulation has long been in place and was issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. It applies equally to souvenir items and real blades. Staff said the sign is intended to improve efficiency at security checkpoints by addressing a common oversight among travelers.

至于提示牌具體的設立時間，對方表示并不清楚。她回憶，不少旅客在過安檢時存在認知誤區，認為文創紀念品既沒有開鋒，尺寸也不大，可直接帶進客艙；被攔下后，部分人既未提前辦理托運，又覺得臨時跑去郵寄太過麻煩，索性將其留下，安檢處由此積壓了大量旅客無法隨身帶走的仿制劍，“客流高峰期，有時一天甚至就能收到四五把。”

機場方面建議攜帶此類旅游紀念品的旅客務必提前核對物品尺寸，并預留充足時間抵達機場辦理相關手續，以免讓心愛的“寶劍”遺憾滯留。

Passengers carrying similar items are advised to check the size in advance and allow sufficient time for the necessary procedures, or risk having them left behind.
