雨水落下，

它不求救贖，

Stone never speaks,
yet it knows prayer best.
When rain falls,
it opens its silent mouth.

It asks not for salvation—
only to be remembered
by time.

Wind sleeps in the valley,
the river dreams of sky.
I wake between them
and see sunlight
learning how to swim.

我對(duì)地面說(shuō)話(huà)，
它不回應(yīng)。
但我知道它在聽(tīng)，
因?yàn)槟_下的草
輕輕顫抖了一下。

The Ear of the Earth

I speak to the ground—
it answers nothing.
Yet I know it listens,
for the grass beneath my feet
shivers once.

這座山叫什么？
風(fēng)說(shuō)：
它沒(méi)有名字，
因?yàn)樗栽陂L(zhǎng)大。

I ask the wind,
“What is this mountain’s name?”
The wind replies:
“It has none—it is still growing.”
